Another great via ferrata in Isère! The via ferrata at Saint Christophe en Oisans is a mountain-style route overlooking the Vénéon torrent. The footbridges, rocky crossings and vertical passages will take us gently upwards before we find ourselves in a welcoming meadow beneath the village of Saint-Christophe en Oisans. Some great vertical photos to be had! A major itinerary in Isère, in the very heart of the Écrins massif. Set among the most iconic peaks in the Écrins, this wild via ferrata can be combined with the magnificent "Mémoires d'alpinismes" museum in the village of Saint Christophe en Oisans. Here you can discover the history of the famous mountain guides of La Bérarde and Le Vénéon.Minimum age: 12 years

1Is this via ferrata accessible to younger climbers?
It's a fairly long via ferrata with lots of crossings and some vertical sections. It's not necessarily well equipped for the little ones.
2Is this via ferrata physical or vertiginous?
No, this is neither a physical nor a vertiginous via ferrata. If necessary, the instructor will be able to belay you without difficulty using the rope in the most vertical sections.
3Are there any loopholes if you're tired?
No, there's no way out, but there's no reason to need one either :)
